INTRODUCTION
Caden Hinckley is a tweener with a good understanding of the game and a propensity to make valid reads, as evidenced by his three assists per game. He has a decent shooting range, although his three-point percentages in his senior season were not particularly impressive (28.8%). He prefers to attack from the low post, where he has a variety of effective moves, and in pick-and-roll situations, he can roll with efficiency or open up on the perimeter. Physically, he definitely needs to strengthen his upper body to better handle contact and aim to play at higher levels. He provides a constant presence on the boards thanks to a keen sense of positioning and is reliable on the defensive end – named the best defender in his conference – adept at switching effortlessly and holding his own against opponents from the 3 to 5 positions.
