INTRODUCTION
Cameron Campbell is a former NCAA Division-II between Lincoln University and Winston-Salem State, where he was twice named to the CCIA All-Conference team. After his rookie season in Portugal, he split time between Ukraine and Tallinn Kalev in Estonia, where he finished his second year as a professional.
Cameron Campbell is a well-sized combo guard, capable of attacking the rim and absorbing contact, as well as creating a shot off the dribble. He needs to work on making his three-point shooting more reliable and improving his shot selection to be more productive. He has good passing abilities (3.7 assists per game with Bipa Odessa), but he needs to pay more attention to managing possession to limit turnovers and show patience against more physical and organized European defenses. In the defensive end he can apply strong pressure on his direct opponent, and his combination of size and athleticism allows him to defend multiple positions. He is the right fit for a team that wants to play at a good pace.
