INTRODUCTION
Cameron Jones, after experiences at Jacksonville State and South Carolina State, has become an important bench-player in the record-breaking season of the Cowboys (30-4). Led by the talent of Shahada Wells, they won the Southland Conference, allowing them to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
Cameron Jones is a good athlete, versatile and capable of running the court well and hitting from beyond the three-point arc. He can lead fast breaks and has a good propensity to pass to teammates (2.3 assists on average in his two seasons at South Carolina State), making him a player who can have an impact in multiple game situations. However, he needs to improve the quality of his initiatives, as the assist/turnover ratio was +0.92 in his years at the Bulldogs, where he managed a greater number of possessions. A valid perimeter defender, he may have difficulty as he approaches the post and the basket, where he lacks the strength for fights in the paint. He is a player of great interest who could have an important impact in many teams in a European entry-level league right from the start.
