INTRODUCTION
Isiah Gaiter played for four seasons at Assumption College in Division II and in 2023 was named to the Northeast-10 All-First team. He then transferred to the Jaguars where he immediately became one of the key players and the team’s second highest scorer.
Isiah Gaiter is a swingman with a great understanding of the game, excellent timing in cutting to the basket, and reading situations, allowing teammates to always have a passing option. He is skilled at driving to the basket off the dribble from mid-range, can post up against smaller opponents, and has a solid selection shot. Solid and reliable from three-point range (37.5% on 2.5 attempts per game), he is a player who makes his basketball IQ his strength. This is because athletically he is not at a high level. He needs to work on his body to have a greater physical impact, especially on the defensive end. A good sense of positioning and the ability to read passing lanes (1 steal per game) cannot be the only weapons to use. His adaptation to the change of division shows that he is a mature player, capable of immediately fitting into a higher-level environment and being useful. He can be a valuable addition to any medium-level European team.
