INTRODUCTION
Jayvion Rucker spent his NCAA career in Division II, wearing the Emmanuel (GA) jersey in the first three seasons and the Blazers jersey in the last two, where he was the center in the starting five.
Jayvion Rucker is a dynamic and mobile big man, excellent finisher (60.7% from 2P) thanks to his ability to move off the ball and a good combination of size and athleticism. He is a player who is developing interesting versatility, being able to drive to the rim and open the floor with his three-point shooting (33.5% on 1.6 attempts in his NCAA career). He needs to improve some decision-making and work on playmaking abilities to expand a skill set that allows him to be a modern stretch-five. Jayvion Rucker has a good physical presence but needs to increase his endurance, as he has always had limited playing minutes (24.9 being the maximum in his graduate year). Defensively, he is very present near the basket, proving to be a valuable rebounder and rim protector (1.2 blocks per game). He is certainly a player of impact in a medium level European league.
