INTRODUCTION
Roti Ware began his career at the JuCo level where he was an All-American in 2019 before transferring to Stephen F. Austin. With the Lumberjacks, he was named to the Southland Conference’s third team in 2021. His first professional season took him to Cyprus where he played for PAEEK Nicosia.
Roti Ware is a combo guard with good size and a solid three-point shooting (36% on 7.3 attempts). He is athletically capable, quick in the fast breaks situations, and decent moving off the ball. He has good passing skills but can improve in decision-making and time management to play more minutes as the primary handler. Defensively, he can make an impact with his physicality against opponents of the same role, is reactive on passing lanes, and is a good rebounder for his position (5.1 per game in Cyprus). He is certainly an impactful player in a medium-level European league due to his combination of physicality, shooting range, and strong defensive abilities.
