INTRODUCTION
Brian Tolefree played at the JuCo level in his college career before transferring to NCAA Division I with UNC-Wilmington, where he found minutes as a valuable rotation player. In the last two seasons, he played in Division II first with Flagler and then finished in the starting five of Georgia Southwestern State. His first professional experience was in Albania, where he reached the playoffs with Apolonia.
Brian Tolefree is a forward capable of attacking the basket decisively or pulling up for a reliable mid-range shot. He has decent off-the-dribble skills, but there is room for growth to become a player with better perimeter abilities. Improving his shooting beyond the arc from the 26.9% on 4.3 attempts would allow him to have greater versatility in multiple roles. He could also improve in decision-making and overall playmaking, where he has shown interesting passing abilities (2.2 assists on average). Defensively, he is solid thanks to a good combination of size and athleticism, which allow him to defend against various types of opponents. He would be a good fit for any team looking for a forward in a medium-level European league.
