Darren Lucas-White played for five years at Augusta University, where he won the Peach Belt Conference title three times, including during his senior season. He scored over 1200 points and made 350 assists. His first professional experience took him to Armenia.
Darren Lucas-White is an athletic point guard with quick hands and a knack for steals (1.2 on average in 148 college games), making him a good on-the-ball defender. Despite his size, he is dynamic and active, always ready to grab a rebound and lead a fast break. Offensively, he is adept at controlling the pace as the primary handler, capable of taking a shot off the dribble, with room to improve his three-point shooting percentages in catch and shoot situations. He is certainly a promising fit for a club in an entry league due to his energy and winning attitude cultivated in college.
