INTRODUCTION
DeAngelo Epps spent the first seasons of his NCAA career between Charleston and Hampton, where he was an important player in the rotation. Moved to the Indians in 2022, where he found a place in the starting five and was twice named to the All-SAC second team. He is versatile on the defensive end, capable of guarding multiple types of opponents, and productive in transition offense and as a spot-up shooter. He needs to find more fluid and reliable shooting mechanics, but he can immediately be a high-level addition to an entry-level team
