INTRODUCTION
Shaun Stewart is a point guard who, after finishing college at Limestone with a nomination to the first team of the Conference Carolinas, moved to Australia. A three-time All-Star, he won the NBL-1 West in 2023 and had an experience in Portugal with Ovarense in between.
Shaun Stewart is very adept at creating space off the dribble, so he can involve teammates with excellent playmaking skills (4.5 assists per game in the last season) or attack the rim with valid finishing abilities (58.3% from 2-P). He is a 3-level scorer, with a reliable three-point shooting (34.1% on 5 attempts) while still having room for improvement in catch and shot situations. Defensively, he is capable of applying strong on-ball pressure to his direct opponent but doesn’t always have the right timing to help defense. An experienced and solid player able to provide contribution in a mid-level league.
