INTRODUCTION
Ta’Jay Dunlap split his Division-II career between Southern Wesleyan and Dallas Baptist, earning a nomination to the respective Conference Team in all five seasons. He is a point guard with court awareness and leadership skills, able to effectively put his teammates in rhythm (3.2 assists with an assist/turnover ratio of +2.50). He has a good shot selection, is a solid slasher (53.7% from 2-P), but needs to work on making his three-point shooting more consistent (29.1% on 2.7 attempts). Ta’Jay has good physicality for his size, which allows him to make a positive impact defensively; he’s reactive on passing lanes (1.8 steals per game) and has room to develop constant motion on defense. A floor general with solid leadership qualities, he can have an immediate positive impact on any entry-level league team.
