INTRODUCTION
Malik Brikat is a versatile forward/center. He has experience in NCAA Division-II wearing before the jersey of Texas-Permian and then Montana State. After he moved to Europe to play his first pro year in Sweden with Eskilstuna Basket.
Malik Brikat has shown a solid presence near the basket as a rebounder and is a strong finisher thanks to effective movement and decent footwork (55% 2-P on 13.5 attempts last season). He tends to attack from the right side using a hook shot. His shooting from mid-range and beyond the three-point arc is a work in progress. Malik Brikat has room for improvement to become an even more versatile player and open up the floor. In the offensive phase, he has areas for development in his ability to use his weak hand and execute dribble pull-ups. On the defensive end, with his physicality, he can provide important help near the basket and in rebound battles (11.6 rebounds) and serves as a rim protector (1.2 last season). He is a solid pick for a medium-low level league overseas.
