INTRODUCTION
Steven Richardson played at the JuCo level during his first three collegiate seasons before transferring to Montana State Billings, where he immediately became part of the starting five. His versatility and ability to defend multiple positions led him to receive the Defensive Player of the Year award for the GNAC, along with an honorable mention. A good athlete, capable of driving to the rim without having a particularly sculpted physique, he is a reliable shooter from beyond the arc (41.5% on 2.2 attempts) in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he can make an impact as a lockdown defender in on-the-ball situations and is very active in passing lanes (1.8 steals per game). Thanks to his size and good wingspan, he can also hold his own against mismatches. He gained experience in the G-League with the Austin Spurs but is certainly an intriguing player for a mid-level European league team due to his game knowledge and ability to provide intensity and energy on defense.
