INTRODUCTION

Sean Moore is a multi-dimensional forward who rose to national attention as one of the key figures in Fairleigh Dickinson’s historic upset over No. 1 seed Purdue in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. In that game, he led the Knights in scoring with 19 points and 5 rebounds. After earning Third-Team All-NEC honors the following season, Moore transferred to UNC Wilmington, where he quickly became a pivotal piece in the Seahawks’ CAA title run and return to March Madness.

He was named to the CAA All-Defensive Team, Moore stands out for his athleticism, lateral quickness, and court awareness. He averaged 1.5 steals per game, often disrupting passing lanes and pressuring ball-handlers effectively. Despite a reduced role in terms of playing time compared to his FDU stint, he remained active on the glass, grabbing 6.5 rebounds in just 24 minutes per game. Only slightly below the 7.6 he averaged in 30 minutes the year prior.

Offensively, Moore operates best when attacking the rim. He shoots 54% on 2-P, primarily off drives and cuts, using his length and body control to finish through contact. While capable of stretching the floor, his perimeter shooting remains inconsistent (30.3% from three on 3.5 attempts per game). He also displays solid feel for the game, with good decision-making and underrated passing instincts, averaging 1.3 assists per contest across his college career.

Sean Moore brings defensive toughness, athletic versatility, and a winning mentality, traits that translate well to a pro environment. With his energy, physical tools, and ability to rise in high-stakes games, he projects as a valuable rotation piece in mid-level European leagues.
